“ After being out of SCV for a year, we couldn't decide what to eat but knew we wanted a beer and relaxing atmosphere. We decided on Mr. Sushi and Alex provided great friendly service. When our food came out, you could see they did not skimp on their fish, the presentation was picture perfect, and Alex was attentive. The sushi chefs are all friendly, good music playing, none of that club music, but relaxing chilling jams. Later, Edgar came to check on us, & he too was very nice. We really enjoyed the food and the service was superb as these days seem lacking at restaurants. Thank you Alex and Edgar. Better service than Kinza sushi. ”

“ We hadn't been here for some time. There were 5 in our group and we ordered a variety of sushi and rolls. We had yellowtail, Escolar, albacore, spicy tuna, octopus and mussels. Everything was excellent! The size of the fish portions on the sushi was very adequate. We will definitely come back again. ”

“ I have been coming here for many years, and as always every time I come I get a feel at home. There Sushi is always very fresh and there other menu items are very unique and very taste. I live a little way from them but out of all the Sushi places in Santa Clarita which I have lived here for 35 years, Mr. Sushi is the best. Love the ambiance, and if you sit at the Sushi Bar you will meet a complete stranger next to you and have a pleasant conversation. There service is exceptional always; it can be very busy but always very attentive. Oh, did I forget to tell you their portions are very generous. I call the rolls sushi burritos because there so big. compared to other sushi restaurants. ”

“ A friend and I stopped in for a mid-week lunch. It was my first time there, but he goes all the time and loves it. Mr. Sushi is now on my lunch list. The restaurant was not very busy (we got there about 11:30), but it is nicely built out, with a sushi bar along one wall and a mix of booths and tables in the middle. We were greeted promptly and offered drinks right away. Service throughout the whole lunch was very good, and the staff is friendly. I ordered two of the basic cut rolls, a spicy tuna and California roll, along with a house salad. The house salad is a bit overwhelming, as it is in a small bowl and piled high with ingredients. I enjoyed the fresh greens and shaved carrots, but it's impossible to eat without spilling on the table. The dressing is good. I would have actually preferred a smaller amount of ingredients in a bowl where you could control things a bit better, along with more dressing. The rolls were larger than expected. Two rolls was plenty for lunch. Both the tuna and Cali rolls tasted great and were very fresh. Mr. Sushi provides ginger, wasabi and both regular and reduced sodium soy sauce on the table. The total for me was about $20, and I felt the meal was a good value. They also offer combos, specialty rolls, bento boxes and more. I would definitely recommend that you give them a try. ”

“ Came here on a weekday for lunch with a group of 5. Plenty of seating, didn't have a wait. Our waitress was very on top of our drinks and ordering. I was new but everyone else had been there before. We ordered a wide variety of food, and everything came out delicious! My favorite was the salmon sushi. So fresh with a buttery texture. The food is well priced and came out in a decent matter of time. If you are looking for some good sushi in SCV this is a great spot! Overall, 5/5 stars! ”

“ My son chose Mr. Sushi for our (early) dinner date. As one of his favorite places in SCV, he said he dines here often and wanted me to try it. Located in a small plaza at the corner of Valencia and Cinema, parking was very easy. We arrived just before 4pm to an almost empty restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated in just a couple of minutes. We were both quite hungry. We started with the Baked Green Mussels and Dynamite, then ordered the Terak, Hama and Rainbow Rolls. For dessert we chose the Banana Tempura Ice Cream. Everything was fresh and so good! Very nice presentations. Portions were generous. During the course of our meal, the servers went through a shift change. It also got noticeably busier as tables started to fill and a large party arrived. Service was impressively seamless despite it all. It was a great time with my son. We left very full and happy -- we'll be back! ”

“ Still one of my favorite sushi spots in scv! Sushi is always fresh & generous in portion. My go to roll here will always be their Hawaiian roll. This roll gives all the freshness & flavor while being refreshing and filling at the same time. I'm also a huge fan of their bento box I love that you get a little bit of everything without breaking the bank. Service is great even when ordering to go which I appreciate. This place also has a nice ambiance but definitely gets very busy. Overall, great location! ”
